Joey Needs Some Help!

Oh my gosh doggers, my little cousin Joey is really, really sick and the vets can't figure out what's wrong!

See over the past couple of months Joey went from being a real active, happy guy to where now all he does is sleep all day and his mom's, Joey has 2 moms, have to try everything to get him to get up and walk or even eat. And all you doggers out there know none of us would ever pass up food or playing unless we was really feelin bad!

Now my Auntie Fil thinks this is all cause of Joey's RABIES shot a couple of months ago cause he has all the symptoms of a guy bein made really sick from this shot. Ma and I didn't even know that the RABIES shot can and has even KILLED some puppers! WHAT'S UP WITH THAT!

And I don't get it, the chances of bein bit by anyone or anything with RABIES is SO REMOTE these days, WHY are they still insisting we have this shot if it's REALLY BAD for us!

So me and ma are sending out an appeal to everybody out there, that if you ever had this happen to your poor little pupper, please let us know what you did to get em better so we can let Auntie Fil know RIGHT AWAY!

In the mean time Auntie Fil is sending Joey to a HOLISTIC VET and getting him a DETOX to get all the nasty chemicals outta his body.

And me, well I'm wishin to DOG that Joey gets better cause this little fella is ONLY 5 and he's got lots of rompin ahead of him!

Polar Bears Make Me Sad...

Oh doggers, me n' ma were watchin tv the other day and they had this show on POLAR BEARS and how because of the HUMANS and GLOBAL WARMING, the polar bears were DYING of STARVATION and we're gonna LOOSE THEM ALL!

See the polar bears go out farther and farther on the ice floes to search for food and then they get STRANDED so far from shore that they DROWN trying to swim back and some of em even have BABIES WITH THEM THAT PERISH TOO!

It makes ma get all teary eyed just thinkin about it and I figured if ever a dog needed to get behind a cause and BARK ABOUT IT, well this is it!

So PLEASE check out the WWF site, read about how you can help and FOR BARKS SAKE, lets SAVE these MAGNIFICANT BEARS!

The Cali Fires

Oh my gosh doggers, I've been down in So Cal helpin out and I can't believe how tragic this situation is. Bein a Nor Cal boy these fires just break my heart.

The smoke, the wind, the heat, all the people and animals that have lost their homes, if a guy had time to stop and think about it he'd be really sad but we have to fight on and do the very best we can cause that's our job and folks are countin on us.

Everyone has to dig deep and know that they can rebuild their lives and this is when your friends, family and neighbors are more important to you than ever.

So for all you folks having to deal with this terrible devastation, know that your firefighters are working their hearts out for you and risking their lifes to try and keep some calm in yours.

We're all thinking about you folks down in So Cal and wish a safe return from the fire line to all the firefighters out there,

Ma's Tattoo!

Woo hoo doggers ma's tattoo of me is lookin mighty fine! And even if her friend Kathy says it's gonna look like a basset hound in a few years, ma don't care cause she loves it! (ma's picture doesn't do it justice cause it's kinda blurry if you ask me)

And it's really cool cause the tat looks really awesome and every time ma looks at it she laughs and it makes her smile cause her boy's gonna be with her forever!

So I'm tellin all you doggers out there that if you save up your pennies maybe YOUR folks will get you tattooed!

Remembrance Day

Doggers this is a very special day and all of us need to take a minute and REMEMBER all those BRAVE men and women that fought and SACRIFICED THEIR LIVES so that we could live in a FREE WORLD.

REMEMBRANCE DAY was first observed on 11 November to recall the end of World War I on that date in 1918. Major hostilities of World War I were formally ended at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918 with the German signing of the Armistice and today we stop to remember those who have fought in all the wars this world has seen.

So doggers, no matter where you are, at 11:00 take a moment to bow your head in REMEMBRANCE and hope for WORLD PEACE.

A New Pitty Girl to Love!

Oh gosh, you doggers have got to check out Trinity cause she is beautiful and pitty girls are the best!

Lots of my best dogger friends are pittys and my aunties have pittys and they are the kindest, funniest most gentle puppers you could ever have. So go to Trinity's blog and check out the pics of her and her human family and say hi while you're there.

All you jerky 'vick' types just pass on by and don't even bother stoppin cause we don't like your kind, you're banned!

I Rescued a Pupper!

Oh my GOSH doggers, you'll never WOOF what happened to me on my walk, I saw a pupper curled up in the bushes and me and ma rescued him!

At first I thought I was seein things but nope, it was a pupper who got scared from the fire works by his house and he tried to get away from the noise and he ran all the way over to by where I live and found a safe place to curl up out of the rain. He had a gash on his head and we found out later he may have some other hurts but I'm just glad the devil dog coyotes didn't find him.

Oh yeah, his name is Blue and he's an Aussie Shepard/Blue Heeler and he's a super nice guy and was really happy when ma crawled in behind the fence and got him out.

But here's the deal, his only tag was a rabies tag and at least it had the name and phone number for his vet on it so that's who ma called and then she took him over there, but no name tag or address, what's up with that? Anyway, in the mean time his ma called the vet and she was headed over to get Blue and take him home which was good cause ma can only have 1 pupper where we live and she didn't want Blue to not have a furever home.

So I hope Blue's gonna be OK, ma's gonna call the vet later to make sure and when we get a house if Blue wants to come stay with us he's more than welcome!
